As the former founder and Executive Director of Seattle Free School, I've taught many people classes in a huge array of subjects.
These days my focus is teaching small business owners and entrepreneurs how to take their marketing to the next level. But why listen to me? Aren't there a HUGE number of people doing exactly this?
Yup, there sure are. There are a couple of things virtually all of these folks will tell you.
What I'm going to teach you is none of these things are true.
*For those of you interested in my other classes (canning, soap making, cheese making, etc) I do still teach these on a very irregular basis. Feel free to contact me using the form below as well.

- What type of posts work
- How much you need to pay (and it's usually pretty high)
- That you need to do extensive testing
- They will make it seem VERY complicated
What I'm going to teach you is none of these things are true.
- First, there is no "type of post" that works for everyone. Anyone that tells you that is lying.
- Second, what you pay is likely VERY small. This is especially true for small businesses and small nonprofits as they start out. Learn small.
- Third, testing is important, but if you're spending so much time setting up tests that you're not doing the actual work, you're not going to learn anything from your testing. Testing should be done in relation to what you're doing and how much you're doing.
- Fourth, it's not hard. It does take a while to learn, but it isn't complicated if you want to do it yourself.
- Fifth, proven results. No, not click through rates. You don't sell click through rates. You need People in your door and you need to sell your products and services. Sure, visibility is important but you need to sell. That is the bottom line.

As stated elsewhere, I am not consulting at this time. However if you'd like to talk about classes for nonprofits and other educational opportunities, feel free to reach out.
