I’m a social media, marketing and business strategist, as well as a teacher, speaker, networker and writer, and I’ve had the opportunity to run successful advertising campaigns for a range of non-profits and for-profit businesses around the world.
 

As the former Executive Director and Founder of Seattle Free School, a non-profit that operated without cash donations of any kind, I learned how to achieve meaningful results without significant financial investment. I’m passionate about encouraging people to ignore the naysayers and the so-called “rules” about how things are supposed to work, so they can create change in their own communities and grow businesses beyond what they thought possible.

I’ve also served as Director of Marketing for South Sound Motorcycles and have worked with a variety of organisations, including BEARTREK, Chris Morgan (PBS/BBC Presenter), Bee Culture Magazine, Tech Soup, and others.  Outside of work, I’m a motorcycle rider, kayaker, solo traveller and avid reader, and I live on Mersea Island in the UK.
